I'm the co-founder and CEO of Danger Jones, a hair color brand that launched in 2023 and is now sold through a distribution network in 43 countries.   Our largest distributor is Cosmo Prof, with over 1400 professional beauty stores in North America.

I'm also the co-founder and CEO of Thurston Productions, a creative house that produces films, books, and  other cultural projects for the Danger Jones universe. We just released a rock documentary about the Sunset Marquis hotel called If These Walls Could Rock, featuring Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Springsteen, Slash, Dave Grohl, and many more rock stars. It's available on AppleTV and Amazon Prime Video. We also just released the book I authored called, The Spiral Staircase, a manifesto about my entrepreneurial journey and the lessons I've learned along the way.

I'm also the Co-Founder and Ex-CEO of Pulp Riot, a professional hair color line that L'Oreal acquired from us in 2018. I continued to serve as the CEO for 3 more years, until I left in June 2021.​

I received an Economics degree from UCLA. I live in Los Angeles with my wife and business partner Alexis Thurston, and my two daughters, Bowie and Finley.
